Supporting parents,
educators, and mentors
in helping teens to succeed

What is Mentoring a Dream?

Mentoring a Dream is a resource for parents, guardians, educators, and adults that have teens in their life.

Reaching the teens around you can feel impossible at times. In their eyes, “You just don’t understand” and navigating these years can be tricky, but I want to provide you with helpful tips and tools to help you guide them through these confusing years.

A Message From

Hi, I’m Sharon. Some of you might better know me as Selma P. Verde, author of The Way Series. After raising two boys and writing young adult novels, I knew this was the next step in my journey. I always thought I’d help the teens directly, but the more that our vision came to life, the more I knew that I wanted to help parents and educators feel better equipped to survive those challenging years. Teens today face even more challenges thanks to the internet and social media, but I am making it my mission to help you reach them through the noise so you can climb that mountain together.
