Selma’s writing novels: Where it all began

So, let’s talk about where it all began for Selma’s writing journey.

Monthly News posts

Selma P. Verde is Sharon’s (the owner and visionary of Mentoring A Dream) penname. She is the author of The Way Series, a coming-of-age series of teen and young adult novels focusing on the challenges teens face. Her work is important to the promotion of our mission by providing resources to help reach teens through the noise of everyday life.

As she thinks about Memorial Day weekend, she always reminded of where the inspiration for writing her first manuscript came from. It was found in a short story she wrote during a spontaneous trip to a B&B in Duluth, Minnesota on Memorial Day weekend about twenty years ago. This manuscript was the start to writing a novel but wasn’t part of The Way Series. Check out this week’s blog post to learn more about her writing journey.
